Double row self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings was invented by company SKF. It has two rows of balls with a common spherical orbit of the outer ring.
The design therefore allows tilting of bearings and shaft misalignment offsets due to the housing. The bearing is particularly suitable
for storage, which can cause shaft deflection and misalignment. The deposit is also characterized by the lowest friction of all rolling
bearings and therefore generates a lower temperature even at high speeds.

Spherical bearings are manufactured in several versions: an open unsealed bearings, bearings and sealed bearings both sides
with extended inner ring. Self-aligning ball bearings are also supplied with contact seals on both sides (marking 2RS1). The
seal is
suitable for operating temperatures from -40 ° C to +100 ° C short term up to +120 ° C.

Self-aligning ball bearing in the standard version is offered with a cylindrical bore and some sizes are also fitted with a tapered bore
