Description of material:
The material consists of a steel base to which is applied a layer of porous tin bronze CuSn10 thickness of approximately 0.25 mm.
To this skeleton is added to a mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a twenty percent by volume of oxidized lead and cured at a temperature 327 Co.
Features:
Running dry (no grease).
Good sliding properties.
Continuous operation without a stutter.
Suitable for oscillating and rotating motions.
Low coefficient of friction.
Low wear and tear.
Better resistance to dirt than plain bearings without PTFE.
Chemical resistance.
Virtually no maintenance.
